MULTE — cloudberries — from the mountain bogs above all: scarce, expensive, jealously guarded picking grounds, and served as multekrem with whipped cream at Christmas. Then bilberries, lingonberries, raspberries, wild strawberries, crowberries, blackcurrants and sea buckthorn. ALLEMANNSRETTEN permits the picking — though in Nordland, Troms and Finnmark cloudberries on certain land are reserved to local residents, which is a real legal exception.
