Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb sweet onions sliced into ยผ inch rings
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter sliced into pats
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 3/8 cup Parmesan cheese grated or shredded
Method

Preheat oven to 350F and spray a 9x13 or similar sized casserole with cooking spray.

Spread the sliced onions out into the bottom of your prepared casserole dish.

Sprinkle the seasonings on top and toss to coat.

Add the butter pats on top of the onions, followed by the shredded cheese.

Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for 50 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the cheese topping becomes a light golden brown.

Allow the onions to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving, enjoy!
