A small and specific emigration: some six hundred Wends sailed for Texas in 1854 under Jan Kilian and settled at Serbin, keeping Sorbian in church into the twentieth century. โ THE DIASPORA IS SMALL AND ITS DOCUMENTATION IS NARROW; no larger one is claimed here because other Slavs emigrated widely.
