Rusyn and the Shared Carpathian Kitchen

Regional

The deliberate counterweight to every boundary in this file. Sheep dairy, filled dough, soured cabbage, smoked pork, mushroom gathering and a Christmas Eve of meatless dishes are shared across the whole Carpathian arc by Rusyns, Slovaks, Poles, Ukrainians, Hungarians, Romanians, Roma, Jews and Carpathian Germans. โš  A SHARED DISH IS NOT EVIDENCE OF WHO INVENTED IT, and a boundary drawn through a shared kitchen is a political act, not a culinary observation.
