The food region of the estuary and its hinterland — Uruguay, the Argentine littoral and Buenos Aires, with edges into Paraguay and Rio Grande do Sul. BEEF from the pampa and the campaña; MATE; ASADO; the enormous Italian and Spanish immigration of 1870-1930 that gave both shores pizza, pasta, fainá, milanesa and the café; DULCE DE LECHE; and a pastry counter — medialunas, bizcochos, facturas — that is recognisably one tradition. ⚠ A COMPARISON AND RELATIONSHIP LAYER.
