The highest district of Zakarpattia, where Rusyn and Hutsul settlement meet and the foodways are those of the polonyna: sheep and cow dairy made on the pasture, smoked meat, cornmeal, berries and mushrooms. ⚠ A CONTACT ZONE, not evidence that Hutsuls are Rusyns or that Rusyns are Hutsuls.
