Indigenous Brazilian Foodways โ€” access note

Comparison

โš  A GOVERNANCE ROW. Brazil has over 300 Indigenous peoples and more than 270 languages, and their foodways are LIVING SYSTEMS, not history. This corpus records: publicly documented ingredients and techniques, published community collaborations, and the peoplesโ€™ own names for things. It does NOT record: sacred or ceremonial knowledge; restricted material; the locations of resources, gardens or communities; anything concerning isolated and uncontacted peoples beyond their existence and protection; or community-internal detail the communities have not themselves published. Rows carrying Indigenous knowledge are marked community_reviewed. That a thing is documented in an ethnography is not sufficient reason to publish it here.
