Ten small marsh islands with no dikes, which are simply submerged several times each winter in the Landunter — everything but the mounds. Food had to be stored above the flood line, drinking water came from a rainwater fething, and sheep and a few cattle were the economy. ⚠ AN EXTREME CASE OF THE REGION’S WHOLE LOGIC: preserve, raise above the water, and expect the sea.
