The Livonians — a Finnic people, not a Baltic one — on the Kurzeme coast at the tip of Cape Kolka: fishing above all, smoked and salted fish, and sklandrausis, which is often attributed to them. ⚠ THE LANGUAGE HAS NO NATIVE SPEAKERS LEFT; what survives is documentation and revival, and no food tradition is invented for them here.
