Potatoes — new potatoes from Samsø in June as a seasonal event, and brunede kartofler, caramelised in sugar and butter, at Christmas; cabbage white, red and green, and grønlangkål, the creamed curly kale of the Christmas table; carrots, beetroot, turnip and swede; leeks and onions; peas; asparagus in May; and rhubarb, which behaves as a fruit here.
