A cardamom wheat bun with the top cut off, the crumb mixed with almond paste and milk, filled back in and topped with whipped cream and the lid. Eaten on Fettisdagen before Lent โ€” and now from January onwards, which is itself argued about. โš  THE MODERN FORM IS NOT THE HISTORICAL ONE: the older hetvรคgg was a plain bun served in hot milk, which is a different dish, and both are recorded.
