Substantial Faroese and Greenlandic communities live in Denmark, particularly in Copenhagen and Aalborg, with their own houses, churches and associations, and with food sent from home — ræstkjøt, dried fish, seal and whale products where legal — as a live practice. Their foodways belong to the Faroese and Greenlandic systems, not to this one.
