Fifty years of occupation in all three countries: collectivisation, deportations, the all-Union cookbook, GOST standards, factory canteens and scarce ingredients — and, underneath it, kitchens that kept their own festivals. ⚠ National foodways are not erased beneath this period, and the period is not erased either.
